We will make this tutorial as easy and straight-to-the-point as Possible so that even a newbie or novice can resolve this issue with our guide. What Causes Computer’s Network Connectivity Issue?
When you purchase a new computer that a WLAN network driver hasn’t been pre-installed on, it will be impossible for you to connect to any wireless network with the computer because the driver that’s supposed to aid the process isn’t present, or maybe your computer was restored to an earlier state when the Network driver wasn’t present.
If any of the aforementioned scenarios apply to you, or maybe you’re sure your Laptop computer’s WLAN (Network) driver has not been installed, then scroll down to read how to resolve the issue. But, if your computer has a WLAN (Network) Driver present but you’re having issues connecting to any Wireless Network or you can’t find any available network, then read this guide; “How To Resolve Computer’s WLAN (Network) Connectivity Issues”. What Does WLAN Stand For?

How To Drive Your Laptop Computer’s WLAN (Network)
Step 1: Download SDI (Snappy Driver Installer) Application. Click HERE To Download The Software.
Snappy Driver Installer Is a Computer Application that’s used to Run Driver Files and Drive any System Components. To know more about SDI, Read This Article; “What is SDI Application, and What is It Used For?”
Note: After Downloading SDI file, it can be found in your system with the term; “SDI_R140”
Step 2: Download ‘Broadcom WLAN Network Driver’. Click Here To Download Broadband Network Driver File.
Note: After Downloading Broadcom WLAN Network Driver file, it can be found in your system with the term; “DP_WLAN_14103”
N:B- ‘Broadcom WLAN Network Driver’ is an updated and general WLAN (Network) Driver for almost all brands of computer, but If the Driver doesn’t work on your system; check-out this article to download some other drivers that might be suitable for your computer and follow the same procedure explained in this tutorial: “Full List of WLAN (Network) Drivers/Adapters Available For Laptop and Desktop Computers”
Step 3: After Downloading Broadcom WLAN Network Driver, Run the Downloaded SDI Application
Step 4: In the SDI Application’s Interface, Find and ‘Tick’ “Expert Mode”. After ticking Expert mode, you’ll notice that more options have been displayed.
Step 5: Click “Select Driver Directory”, which is the fourth option below ‘Expert Mode’ box.
Step 6: Find and Select the Folder in which you downloaded “Broadcom WLAN Network Driver” into. In this tutorial, we downloaded the WLAN (Network) Driver file into a Flash Drive which is termed “Removable Disk (E:)” and that you can see in the screenshot posted below.
In your case, if you downloaded the WLAN (Network) Driver File Into the “Downloads” folder in your Computer’s Local Disk, you can either select the Local disk for the SDI application to automatically find the driver and display or, you can select that same “Downloads” Folder in which it was downloaded into; for the driver to be loaded. Either way, your WLAN (Network) Driver File will still be found by the SDI Application. After selecting the destination folder, Click OK!
Step 7: Once the Broadcom WLAN (Network) Driver has been found and displayed on the SDI’s Interface, Select the Broadcom WLAN Network Driver, and then hover your mouse to the left options and Click On Install. Thereafter, your WLAN (Network) Driver will begin installing.
Step 8: Once the WLAN (Network) Driver Installation has reached 100% and confirmed, you will notice that The Computer Icon by the right side of your Laptop’s Task-Bar has been changed to a Network Signal with 5 Bars; and a yellow Star which indicates that “Connections are Available”. When you click on the 5-bar Network Signal, you should be able to see and connect to available Networks from there.
Step 9: If your Laptop’s Network signal doesn’t come up after installing the WLAN (Network) Driver, Restart your Computer and it will surely come up, and when you click on the 5-bar Network signal on the taskbar, you’ll see list of available networks like in the screenshot below.
